Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman had an insane sequence in the fourth quarter of their 116-106 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night. This year's no. 2 overall pick made a nice recovery and block on Pistons center Mason Plumlee. The 7-foot freak athlete retrieved the loose ball, showed off his handles by dribbling down the length of the court and rose for a nasty one-handed hammer to finish the one-man fast break.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr spoke about the play after the game and likened the move to no less than Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. Dubs superstar Stephen Curry agreed as well and saw flashes of the reigning two-time MVP when Wiseman pulled out the coast-to-coast highlight.

“It did look like a Giannis type of situation, right?” Curry said, via Anthony Slater of The Athletic. “It was awesome. I really think he’s starting to figure out when to be aggressive and the next level is obviously being able to see the floor and when he draws attention, kicking it out. But you can see the skill set. You can see what he’s capable of handling the ball, crazy long strides and finishing at the rim.”

Boy, Dub Nation is certainly salivating. The Warriors don't even need The Greek Freak anymore. They already have their own version of it in their prized rookie.

The Warriors must love what they've seen from the 19-year old so far. It's certainly amazing to see what Wiseman can do right considering his age and lack of experience. The kid only played in three college games and didn't play organized basketball in over a year. Yet, he's still able to do these kinds of plays and has also surprisingly shown a pretty nice touch from the outside for a guy his size. This proves just how talented he is.

Wiseman finished the night with 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks after fouling out in 22 minutes.
