Tom Brady secured his seventh Super Bowl on Sunday night by taking down the Kansas City Chiefs at 43 years old, breaking the norm for older athletes. In response to Brady's uncanny ability at his age, Stephen Curry shared that he'd love to get the chance to play into his 40s with the Golden State Warriors, via NBC Sports.
“If I could get to like pushing 40 and still be impactful on the court, I feel like that's a win in basketball. Straight up and down you can't hide anywhere when you're out there. Maybe a little bit of a different conversation, but to Tom's point, just getting your body where you go out on your own terms is the goal.
Regardless of what major sport it is, players seem to have their performance taper off at a certain point in their career. However, when it comes to Brady, he's 43 years old and is he showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Brady has become the prime example of what athletes hope to be when they hit the latter part of their careers. While Curry isn't closing in on 40 years old just yet, he hopes to be able to perform at a high level with the Warriors — or another team if he leaves Golden State.
At the least, Curry's main goal is to have the ability to have control over when he wants to retire from the NBA. Given his ability to shoot the ball, Curry definitely has an opportunity to be a solid contributor when he nears 40 years old, barring injury.
