Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr isn't throwing Draymond Green under the bus after a last-second blunder in the Dubs' loss against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday.

It was a Texas thriller as the game came down to the wire in the AT&T Center. With Green basically losing the game for the Warriors, Kerr wants everyone to know that the L was on him.

“The Spurs generally do not foul in those situations. Probably my fault for not informing the team that they don't usually foul.” Kerr explained after the loss (via Warriors reporter Anthony Slater of The Athletic).

The Warriors had a chance to tie the game with under ten seconds to go but instead of the ball falling in the hands of Stephen Curry, it went to Green who shot a 40-footer in the hopes of baiting a foul. To make matters worse, there was actually a ton of time left in the game clock when Green let the ball go. An experienced player like Green should've known better but Kerr wants to deflect all the blame towards him.

Here's the Warriors' last possession:

Just as Kerr predicted, Derrick White did a marvelous job of sticking to Green and not fouling which resulted in a horrible logo-attempt from the former DPOY. The play left the announcers, and everyone else for that matter, confused as hell about the Warriors and their handling of an endgame situation.

Curry had another monster performance draining six of his 11 three-point attempts and ended the evening with a game-high of 32. NBA fans know that five seconds is an eternity for a shooter like Curry which makes Draymond's blunder even more disappointing for the Warriors, who can't manage to get on any kind of roll this season.
