The Golden State Warriors bench reacted wildly over what they perceived as a phantom call in the third quarter of their match against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday.

Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard converted on a jumper while trying to draw a foul late in the third quarter. Warriors forward Alfonzo McKinnie bit into Lillard's fake and the Trail Blazers superstar tried to create contact. McKinnie avoided contact but a referee called a foul on him, giving Lillard an and-one opportunity, which he eventually completed.

Clearly seeing that McKinnie did not even touch Lillard, the Warriors bench made the referees know that they disagreed to the call. Warriors superstars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were seen complaining about the foul called on their team.

An NBC Sports Bay Area commentator was also heard saying that the referees assumed that there would be contact even before it happened. The replay showed that McKinnie went underneath Lillard to avoid fouling him.
