The Memphis Grizzlies were up by double-digits late in the game against the Golden State Warriors, en route to ruining the defending champs' chances at breaking the 1995-96 Bulls‘ record of 73 wins. But they were unable to hold on, with Golden State winning 100-99.
More was on the line tonight than just the Warriors' potential record-breaking season. The Grizzlies blew an opportunity to go down in history as the team to stop that record-breaking from happening.

Perhaps they'll still be a trivia answer however, since Memphis gets another crack at Golden State in both teams' final regular season game next Wednesday.
