The Memphis Grizzlies have seen their season quickly go south over the last few weeks dropping 15 out of the last 16 games including a current four-game skid.
Following Monday's loss to the Miami Heat, All-Star center Marc Gasol once again voiced that he hopes that the Grizzlies' struggles are becoming a personal matter for his teammates, according to Clay Bailey of The Commercial Appeal.
Asked if he thought losing affected others like it does him, Gasol replied: "I couldn't tell you that. Everybody has to look in the mirror, and, as a man, you have to take it personally because wearing this jersey means a lot."

The 32-year-old has been quite vocal about his team's lack of success over the past month that he recently stated that he was baffled by the lack of urgency. It has been nothing short of a frustrating season for the Grizzlies that has featured the firing of their head coach David Fizdale after just the first 19 games of the season. There had been rumblings about Fizdale and Gasol not exactly seeing eye to eye prior to the organization's decision to move on.
Memphis had begun the year with a promising start winning out of their first six games, but things have quickly headed in the opposite direction. This included point guard Mike Conley being declared out indefinitely after the first 12 games of the season.
The further south things hedge for the Grizzlies, it could see Gasol being mentioned in trade rumors more prominently as the trade deadline nears.
