Despite the Houston Rockets not having the results they wanted in their last three outings, James Harden remains positive and insists they have no reason to be concerned.
When asked how he feels after his team lost three consecutive games, the 27-year-old Arizona State product said, via ESPN's Calvin Watkins, that they're focused on finishing the regular season strong to have a lot of momentum on their side as they enter the playoffs.
“We’re good.
“Right now we have an opportunity [to finish strong]. We showed signs we’re really good and show signs where we’re just going through the motions. We pretty much have the three seed locked in, we've got a few injuries [due to which people] are missing, three in four nights, a lot of things building up. We've just got to get through it, keep fighting, and we’ll be all right.”
The team is currently playing without starting power forward Ryan Anderson, who is still scheduled to miss a few more games as he is recovering from a right ankle sprain. It is also worth noting that they played the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, before a back-to-back set against the Portland Trail Blazers and the Dubs once again on Thursday and Friday, which may be the reason why they lacked energy in those games.

Head coach Mike D'Antoni echoed his star guard's statement while highlighting what they have do a better job on in their next games to get back to their winning ways.
“They got more intense. They stripped us a lot of times and blocked shots at the rim. We just didn’t have a nice offense and they got us. Defensively we were pretty good; we held them in check most of the game. We did a good enough job to win, but offensively we went through about seven minutes where we’re trying to manipulate the game, instead of attacking and playing.”
With only six games remaining on their schedule, it is important that the Rockets win as much games as they can to have their confidence back, and get rid of the bad habits that will not help them in the postseason. Should they be successful in doing so, they will be one of the toughest teams to beat, especially with their high-octane offense led by The Beard.
