When James Harden’s video of doing the #DriveByDunkChallenge on a speedboat came out and immediately went viral, you had a sense that there was another shoe to drop. And don’t you know it, there actually was.

As per Uproxx, Adidas has dropped Harden’s Vol. 1 Yacht Club on Saturday, Aug. 19. The new shoe, which retails at $140, is a triple-white version of Harden’s first signature shoe which came out November of last year. This colorway is said to fit Harden’s off-court style, which involves all-white outfits.

Meanwhile, Harden's personal logo is found on the outsole as well as the sock liner.

Of course, you don’t need to be a genius to figure out the thinking behind Harden doing that #DriveByDunkChallenge on a speedboat and his “Yacht Club” kicks dropping a few days later. It was a fantastic piece of marketing from all involved in terms of making Harden viral before the launch of his new nautical-themed shoes.

It’s unclear from Harden’s drive-by video whether he was actually wearing his new Yacht Club shoes, although he was wearing a pair of all-white sneakers. Either way, expect Harden to throw down a handful of dunks if/when he wears his new kicks in actual NBA games next season. Unfortunately, though, no speedboats will be involved.
