George has long been vocal about his desire to win with the Pacers, but has been frustrated with their front office's efforts in surrounding him with talent. Although they have made it to playoffs in five out of the last six seasons, they have not had the opportunity to come out of the Eastern Conference, and even suffered first round exits the past two years.
