Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo has been one of the most surprising players in the NBA this season. Although Oladipo was the second pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, he didn't quite live up to these expectations during his tenures with the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Now with the Pacers, the dynamic shooting guard has amazed fans and his peers in a spectacular way. Oladipo is currently averaging 24.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists, and 2.1 steals per game while shooting 48 percent from the field and 38 percent from deep.
These averages have allowed Oladipo to capture his first All-Star appearance, and it even appears that he may lead the Pacers into the postseason, even after the departure of Paul George. Oladipo, who is the Pacers' new franchise star, set a team record with at least steal in his last 41 games. He achieved this feat against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday.

In just one season with the Pacers, Oladipo has exceeded expectations. When he was traded to the Pacers in July, many initially believed that the Pacers were short-changed in the deal. Few people truly believed that Oladipo would be a decent return for the Pacers.
Now that he is calling the shots, Oladipo has transformed the Pacers into possible contenders in the Eastern Conference. At just 25 years of age, he has yet to even enter his prime. Therefore, the Pacers have a chance at sustaining success in the future and building a winning culture around the new All-Star.
Hopefully, Oladipo can keep this streak alive against the Hawks on Friday. After that game, he will represent the Pacers in Sunday's All-Star game.
