It has been a remarkable year for Victor Oladipo. Not long ago, he was just any other NBA player who posted mediocre statistics. Now, he's a bonafide star and has taken time to break ankles as well.

A video posted by Bleacher report shows Oladipo driving to the lane, stopping on a dime with a behind-the-back move, then nailing a jumper. His defender, the L.A. Clippers' Austin Rivers, ended up laying down watching on the floor ala Wesley Johnson on James Harden.

The highlight will definitely be part of Oladipo's reel. But more important than the ankle breaker, the Pacers got the win, 104-11. They are currently on a five-game winning streak. The Clippers, meanwhile, have lost two straight.

Oladipo, the second overall pick in 2013, finished with 30 points, 12 assists, and four rebounds. He has led the Pacers to a surprising 46-31 record this season which is good for fifth place in the Eastern Conference. There are just five games left on their schedule and they need to be at least 4-1 over that span to achieve a 50-win season.

The Pacers' performance this season is surprising because many critics believed that after losing Paul George, the franchise was about to enter rebuild mode. Yet seemingly out of the blue, Oladipo elevated his game to superstar caliber.

After the game, Oladipo said of the win, per Clifton Brown of IndyStar.com:

“This is obviously a great road win for us,” said Oladipo. “We're on a very tough four-game road trip. It's not over yet. We've got another tough game in Denver coming up, in a tough environment that we got to be a ready for. We're trying to be a great team, not a good team. In order to do that, we got to do it every night.”
