Today is not a good day for L.A. Clippers big men. The Clippers are in Salt Lake City tonight for a crucial match with the Utah Jazz and are currently receiving a bad beating at the hands of Donovan Mitchell and company. An eventual loss to Utah probably would hurt more for DeAndre Jordan and Boban Marjanovic, though, as they have been embarrassed on separate occasions by Jazz guards.

It did not take long for DeAndre Jordan to get the Donovan Mitchell experience. Right in the first quarter, Jordan found himself on the short end of a Mitchell highlight, as the Jazz rookie lost Clippers guard C.J. Williams atop the three-point line before charging into the lane, where he was met by Jordan. The crafty guard easily took apart Jordan’s defense with a series of nice jukes before making a scoop layup that came with a foul from the Clippers’ center.

So far this season, the Mitchell is averaging 20.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists for the Jazz, who has seemingly gotten over the departure of Gordon Hayward thanks to Mitchell’s emergence.
As for Boban, well, he probably had it worse than Jordan.
