Utah Jazz guard Dante Exum has been hurt for most of his career so far in the NBA, but today, it’s his turn to hurt somebody else’s feelings, as the 6-foot-6, wiry point guard somehow found the strength to bang bodies with 7-foot-3 Boban Marjanovic in the air and block the L.A. Clippers giant’s attempt to throw it down at the rim.

This was a huge physical feat for Dante Exum, who probably weighs just as much as Marjanovic’s legs. Exum is listed at 190 pounds, a hundred pounds lighter than the 290-pound worth of flesh in Marjanovic’s frame.

Also remember that Exum has had a couple of major injuries this early in his NBA career. He had battled through a serious knee injury and has just fully recovered from a shoulder injury that forced him to miss a huge portion of this season. Exum only returned to action last March and has played in only 10 games this 2017-18 campaign entering the match against the Clippers.

Exum was selected fifth overall in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Jazz, but injuries have derailed his progress. He is still just 22, though, so he has plenty of time to develop. Whether he’ll continue his progress with the Jazz following this season is a question, however, as he is a restricted free agent this coming summer.

Getting blocked by a man half his size was embarrassing for Boban Marjanovic, but for a dude who finds boundless enjoy in little things, he could easily get over it.
