The Cleveland Cavaliers aren't having the best season as of late. On Saturday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder destroyed the Cavaliers 148-124. The game made Cleveland look like anything but a championship contender or the home of the best player on the planet. On Saturday, Enes Kanter made sure to post his thoughts about the game on Twitter.

Apparently, this exchange didn't sit well with one of Kanter's former teammates. In fact, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN, Kanter explained that one of his former teammates gave him a stern warning after trolling James on Twitter.

“One texted me just to say — I'm not going to say who — but he texted me, ‘You're about to get 50 dropped on you, boy.'” Kanter said before Sunday's matinee against the Los Angeles Lakers. “I responded something back, but I'm not going to say what it is.”

If Kanter is telling the truth, James must have taken a notice to Kanter's trolling. Nonetheless, Kanter reaffirmed that his tweets are just jokes and that he respects James at the highest level.

“He got mad at me, obviously,” Kanter said, referring to remarks he made about James in the past. “I mess with him a lot, but obviously he's the best player in the league. I respect the guy a lot. But I think right now they are struggling or whatever. I don't even think he's even thinking about what I tweet. I think he's worried about his team. I don't even think he's thinking about what I'm going to tweet or not. Because I think they are struggling right now and the only thing he's thinking about … just getting his team [on track].”

The Knicks play the Cavaliers again on April 9. Maybe Kanter's old teammate's prediction will come true at Kanter's expense.
