Enes Kanter is a very colorful NBA personality. He is an outspoken critic of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He is also an avid Twitter user, publicly going after two of the biggest NBA stars, Kevin Durant and LeBron James. It's needless to mention that Kanter is a good basketball player, and he is having a great season with the New York Knicks. Coincidentally, the fan voting results have recently been released, and Kanter definitely appears to appreciate them.

The fan votes for the front court in the Eastern Conference have been predictable, except Antetokounmpo's rise to the top. This is a great thing for Kanter, since he is in the midst of the NBA All-Star voting, but it's unclear of whom he is referring to when he mentioned his “haters”. He could be referring to the Turkish government who have recently threatened the big man with jail time for criticizing their president.

That would be a reasonable assumption since Kanter shows little to no regard for his home country. Though, Kanter could just be throwing this tweet out in jest. He is currently averaging 13.4 points and 10 rebounds per game, while shooting nearly 60% from the field. He has helped the Knicks return to relevance in the NBA. The Knicks are currently about two games away from the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference. If the Knicks can secure more success, Kanter's votes might grow in the coming weeks.

All in all, Kanter is surely putting the “haters” on notice with his play being recognized as All-Star worthy. If he keeps it up, he just may make his first All-Star appearance.
