The Knicks' offense figures to look markedly different this season. Hornacek has already said he plans to play Kristaps Porzingis more at center, and also intends to speed up the pace like he did in his time in Phoenix.

The Knicks’ problems over the past few years extend way beyond the triangle, though. They have been consistently among the worst defensive teams, and were way down in 25th last season.

Still, it’s a move in the right direction for the team to finally move on from the triangle, which didn’t really suit the team, and focus more on building around their strengths like Porzingis.
