Most of the time, New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis looks like a man among boys on the court because of his 7-foot-3 frame. He also probably grew up learning and playing the sport of basketball on a different dimension because that’s the only explanation we have for how Porzingis manages to knock down shots like this.

Kristaps Porzingis took that shot from around three feet behind the 3-point line, yet he hoisted the ball so effortlessly. Check that. Porzingis put up that shot from all the way back in his home country of Latvia. That ball had to pass through several security checks at the airport before finding the bottom of the net.

As impressive as Porzingis’ range was on that play, he and the Knicks lost to the Chicago Bulls, 92-87. Porzingis finished the game with 23 points, six rebounds, three blocks, an assist, a steal, and perhaps a strong argument on why the NBA has to consider adding a four-point line in the future.
With the Knicks now on a three-game skid, Porzingis will have to do more than just sink shots from Neptune to get his team out of a rut.
A chance to get back in the win column comes tomorrow night at San Antonio for the Knicks.
