There’s nothing funny about an injury much less one that sidelines you for a few games. It’s even less funny when your teammates make fun of you for it. Unless you’re one of the young turks plying your trade with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Josh Hart suffered a hand injury during a practice session and proceeded to post a photo of himself on social media with his head down. Rather than getting a “get well soon” response from his teammates, Hart was ridiculed by them.

In the image, Hart appeared to be suffering a very serious, career-threatening injury. Fellow rookie Kyle Kuzma roasted him in response and wouldn’t let Hart hear the last of it.
“You posted this like your career ending boy,” Kuzma replied to Hart’s Instagram post. “if you don’t relax and go play fortnite lol.”
Kuzma was referring to a video game that Hart will be playing later regardless of the hand injury. Hart took the roasting in stride and confirmed that he will be playing the game soon. The images were shared by USA Today’s Alysha Tsuji.

Even his former teammate, Larry Nance Jr. who is now with the Cleveland Cavaliers, made fun of Hart’s update calling it “dramatic.” He also reminded Hart that he suffered a similar injury and will be playing again in no time.

These young Lakers kids are sure having fun this season regardless of their win-loss card. At 26-34 with very little chance of making it to the playoffs, a little humor in the locker room surely helps.
