LaVar Ball was utterly confident his son, Lonzo Ball, will make LeBron James a better player now that the two are both with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The loud personality noted a player like James would play right to his son's skill set, urging the partnership will be an ultimate success.

“How you gonna give my son the best player in the game?” Ball said. “Lonzo makes everybody better including him.”

“All [LeBron] gotta do is run the lanes and the pass will be on the money,” he added.

LaVar seems to have forgotten his younger son, LiAngelo, went undrafted and passed up twice by his hometown Los Angeles Lakers, as his prediction was far from being spoken into existence.

Lonzo, on the other hand, is suffering from a torn meniscus, which could potentially keep him out of the rotation to start the season.

The team quickly took measures by signing point guard Rajon Rondo to a one-year, $9 million deal, now reportedly in open competition with Lonzo for the starting job.

A potential star partnership with James would involve Lonzo being a star to begin with, as the No. 2 selection left a lot in terms of expectations, barely averaging over 10 points per game, while shooting a woeful 36 percent from the floor, 30.5 percent from deep, and a horrid 45.1 percent from the foul line.

Ball's injury will also determine just how much work he's able to put in with his shot during this offseason, as this potential star partnership could wind up a realized prophecy or just a figment of LaVar's wild imagination.
