For their upcoming game tonight against the star-studded Oklahoma City Thunder (20-17) at Staples Center, the Los Angeles Lakers (11-25) received both good and bad news regarding the status of three key players.

According to ClutchPoints' own Ryan Ward, the Lakers will have a healthy rookie forward Kyle Kuzma and the return of starting center Brook Lopez on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, rookie point guard Lonzo Ball's shoulder ailment has caused him to be ruled out for tonight's contest.

Kuzma, who was only able to play 18 minutes and score six points in Monday night's road loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, is currently the Lakers' leading scorer this year at 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.

Lopez has missed the last eight games for the Lakers with a sprained ankle, but his return should offer some stability down in the post for their matchup with Thunder center Steven Adams. In 28 starts this season for Los Angeles, the seven-footer is averaging a career-low 12.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.6 blocked shots per game in roughly 22.8 minutes of action per contest.

Tonight's game against the reigning NBA Most Valuable Player in superstar point guard Russell Westbrook and the Thunder, which will tip off shortly after 7:30 p.m. PT, will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN.
