Los Angeles Clippers small forward Kawhi Leonard just scared the entire NBA by saying he wasn't even 100 percent at the start of last season and is at full strength now.

Leonard dealt with his lingering quadriceps injury last season and suffered from left knee tendinitis in the 2019 NBA Finals.

After the Finals run he went on with the Toronto Raptors, Kawhi Leonard is entering the 2019-20 season as the best player in the NBA. The Clippers are still counting their blessings Leonard signed with them in free agency. For the first time in franchise history, the Clips are title contenders with Leonard and Paul George on the roster.

Leonard played in 60 games last season for the Raptors. He averaged 26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 49.6 percent from the field, 37.1 percent from beyond the arc and 85.4 percent from the free-throw line. Leonard was load managed by the Raptors and it helped the three-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year stay fresh for the postseason.

The Clippers will monitor Leonard's health all season. It's important for the organization Leonard is healthy for the playoffs since LAC has title aspirations. George is more than capable of carrying the load on offense if Leonard has to rest during the regular season.
