Lou Williams of the L.A. Clippers is the greatest player of all time and there's a very simple explanation for that claim.

On his Instagram account, Williams, a two-time winner of the Sixth Man of the Year award said that his kids have no idea who NBA legend Michael Jordan is. So for them, their father is the GOAT.

Williams is t he GOAT, and towards the end of the video, he sought the help of his followers to make sure that it stays that way in the eyes of his kids.

Only one player compares to Jordan, and his name is LeBron James. Let's not act, however, like Williams is a slouch. He's won two Sixth Man of the Year trophies which pretty much puts a stamp on how critical his presence is in a team. Her's also coming off a career year with the Clippers at age 31.

Like many NBA players, Williams can be classified as a journeyman. In his 14 year tenure in the NBA, he has played for six teams. He has played a total of 861 games, only 109 of which were part of the starting five. But at this point in his life, Williams has embraced his role as the leader of the bench. And that fact alone makes him a great player, even in his own right.  Per Will Hammock of the Gwinnett Daily Post:

“At this point, it is what it is. Starting doesn’t mean anything to me at this point. I’ve led three different teams in scoring off the bench. It really doesn’t matter. You step inside the lines, compete and give yourselves an opportunity.”
