The L.A. Clippers introduced their fresh City Edition jerseys on Friday night. Following their tight 122-119 win over the Houston Rockets, reporters asked Clips guard Lou Williams to give his thoughts on their new-look threads, via Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.

Williams gave positive reviews on the jersey and even wants it tattooed somewhere on his body.

Consider this Sweet Lou approved. The fresh jerseys definitely give the Clippers a different kind of swag. The stylistics of the font and the simpleness of the design just make them look so good.

Definitely, the jersey sort of matches their status as one of the elite teams in the NBA. Perhaps this also signifies this new era they are ushering in with two hometown superstars in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George bannering their the blue and red colors.

This 2019-20 team, led by Leonard and George, arguably has the best chance to win the once second-fiddle Los Angeles-based franchise – next to the Lakers, of course – their first ever NBA championship.

Kawhi, PG13, Sweet Lou, and company showed just that with their massive victory over the Rockets. Williams top-scored for L.A. with 26 points and four three-pointers on 9-of-16 shooting in 34 minutes off the bench. Leonard and George combined for 43 points. The trio also came up big for them in crunch time.

The match-up definitely had a playoff atmosphere to it as both teams gave fans a down the wire thriller. Leonard made the biggest shot of the night with a pull-up jumper in the lane to give the Clippers a one-point lead with 15 seconds the remaining. The shot highlighted a 10-2 game-closing run for the Clippers, which trailed by five with a minute remaining.
