LOS ANGELES – Paul George fully participated in practice on Saturday afternoon, said L.A. Clippers head coach Doc Rivers. The six-time All-Star and third place finisher in the MVP race last season could return to the lineup as soon as Monday night against the Toronto Raptors.

“Yeah,” responded Rivers on Paul potentially playing Monday vs. Raptors. “But I don't know, I doubt he plays Monday, but it's a possibility. It's possible I may play, too, for that matter.”

George's participation in full practice marks the first time since May that George did any live work in practice.

“He’s doing great,” added Rivers. “He practiced today. A lot of it was live today. He went through the whole practice, he looked great.

“We didn’t have him on the starting team. We had him on the other team today, but it is nice to see him on the floor today, I can tell you that. I think some guys found out that he was on the floor today, I can say that. He played well, he shot the ball well.”

It's still unclear when George will be cleared to fully return to the lineup, but reports have suggested this week as the Clippers' target date.

George was the third place finisher in MVP voting last year, averaging 28 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.2 steals, and 3.8 three-pointers per game last year with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
