Defense wins championships. You can score all the points you want, but if you can't get any stops, you're not going to win consistently in the NBA. The Clippers figure to have an elite defense in 2019-20 with Paul George, Kawhi Leonard and Patrick Beverley leading the charge.

Leonard is a three-time All-Star, two-time Defensive Player of the Year and two-time Finals MVP. This past season for the Toronto Raptors, The Claw averaged 26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists. George, meanwhile, has made the All-Star team six times and an All-Defensive team four times. The 29-year-old put up 28.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 2018-19 on the Oklahoma City Thunder while shooting 43.8 percent from the floor, 38.6 percent from the 3-point line and 83.9 percent from the charity stripe.
