In a matchup of two Western Conference powers, the LA Clippers faced the Houston Rockets on Thursday night. Reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard got the best of both P.J. Tucker and Robert Covington on the Rockets:

Leonard has long been a relentless driver to the basket, and on this occasion, he simply could not be denied as he clobbered two terrific defenders on the way to a ferocious slam for the Clippers on Covington.
The Klaw is coming off of an All-Star Game MVP performance, and he is also the heart and soul of a strong Clippers squad with depth to spare and an excellent “number two” on the team in Paul George.
Leonard himself is having a career year at age 28 for the Clippers, as he is putting up career-highs with 27.0 points per game, 7.5 rebounds per game and 5.1 assists per game – all while playing only 32.3 minutes a contest in only 48 games out of a possible 61.
Seemingly, load management works for the Clippers.
