The Lakers rebounded after missing out on Leonard. They agreed to deals with DeMarcus Cousins, Danny Green, Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. But still, it's going to take some time for fans of the Purple and Gold to get over this. They really thought they were going to land Leonard.

Kawhi wanted to come home to Los Angeles, he just didn't want to create a superteam with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the Lakers. After all, Leonard just won the NBA title with the Toronto Raptors. He didn't want to be the third fiddle to James and AD on the Lakers.
