Two of the best players in the NBA square off on Friday, as LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks at Staples Center.

James and Giannis faced each other in the 2019 All-Star Game when they were captains. Friday's game will be a lot more meaningful, though. The Lakers are trying to get into the playoffs, while the Bucks can clinch a playoff spot with a win over Los Angeles.

After the Lakers' morning shootaround, LeBron talked about how Antetokounmpo has evolved since he came into the NBA back in 2013:

Giannis Antetokounmpo was a skinny little kid when he made his NBA debut. Now, he has the body of a Greek god and is one of the most dominant players in the league.

In 56 games this season, Giannis is averaging 27.0 points, 12.6 rebounds and 5.9 assists per contest. The three-time All-Star is shooting 58.1 percent from the field, 23.7 percent from beyond the arc and 71.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Antetokounmpo has recorded 42 double-doubles and five triple-doubles on the season. The Bucks enter Friday with the best record in the NBA at 47-14, and many believe The Greek Freak should win the MVP award.

Statistically, LeBron James is having another stellar campaign, but because the Lakers have struggled all season, James has been under a lot of criticism, especially for his poor defense. The King is putting up 26.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game. LA is 30-31.
