August 24 (8/24) will forever be Mamba Day and the entire basketball community united once again in remembering the late great Kobe Bryant.

Of course, the NBA world paid tribute to Kobe, including his former teammate Jordan Clarkson. The Utah Jazz guard reposted on Twitter an old video of a bunch of NBA players discussing how Kobe made an impact on them.

Clarkson settled for an appropriate emoji for the caption, as he perhaps couldn't fully express himself in honoring the Los Angeles Lakers icon.

Guys like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Draymond Green, and Dwyane Wade just to name a few appeared on the video, each expressing how much Kobe means to their career and life outside the NBA.

Clarkson, of course, witnessed first-hand Kobe's greatness as they spent two seasons together with the Lakers. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year has always mentioned Kobe for motivating him to become a better player and develop a strong work ethic. Clarkson's aggressive on offense could remind people of Kobe in his younger years before he became a more well-rounded player en route to five NBA titles and two Finals MVP trophies.

Clarkson is still far from duplicating Kobe's feats, but he sure has found his niche in the NBA as an instant scorer off the bench for the Jazz, who have become a legitimate contender in recent years.

Curiously, Kobe Bryant played his final game in 2016 against the Jazz. In the very last play, he passed the ball to an open Jordan Clarkson who finished with a dunk. There must be something poetic about that.
