Since the end of the regular season, Los Angeles Lakers forward Julius Randle has put in much work towards making improvements ahead of his fourth year in the league.
Randle has already got himself in tremendous shape and now appears to be confident enough in his 3-point shooting ability, according to Spectrum Sportsnet.
“Comfortable. As long as I’m stepping into it and not thinking about it I feel great.”
Through his first three seasons with the Lakers, Julius Randle has shot a meager 27.3 percent from beyond the arc. He began to incorporate the shot in his game more last season taking 63 attempts while hitting at an even 27 percent clip.
It should come as no surprise that the 22-year-old is working to a greater degree on his outside shooting given that he has increased the usage of the shot in his offensive repertoire. He will have more opportunities this upcoming season to shoot from beyond the arc with the arrival of rookie point guard Lonzo Ball, who has shown that he can elevate the play of his teammates through his passing ability.
This could help set the table for a breakout year for Julius Randle that could see his offensive production take a significant stride as he becomes a bigger piece of the puzzle moving forward.
