With the NBA trade deadline fast approaching, the Los Angeles Lakers are reported to be one of the teams looking to add more talent to their roster. After all, the Lakers have dealt with injuries to their All-Stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis and are in danger of falling in the Western Conference standings in their absence.

Acquiring an All-Star caliber player would certainly help the LA while James and Davis are on the shelf, and can make them an even deadlier team once they return in the playoffs.

One player who is rumored to be a target of the Purple and Gold is Cleveland Cavaliers center Andre Drummond. While the Cavaliers are hoping to deal Drummond in a trade, there is a strong chance that he could be bought out, with the Lakers emerging as one of his possible destinations.

With the Lakers having a large fanbase, the two-time All-Star has received his fair share of fans trying to convince him to head to Los Angeles. In fact, he couldn’t help but react to one of them, which uses a scene from the Spike Lee sports drama film He Got Game to recruit him to the Lakers.

In 25 games, Drummond has averaged 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.6 steals while shooting 47.4% from tbe field for Cleveland. Players who are rumored to be on the move are usually quiet on social media until after they’ve switched teams, so it is surprising to see the 27-year-old reacting to rumors.

Whether or not he moves to the Lakers to join forces with James and Davis, their fans don’t have to wait for long with the deadline only a couple of days away.
