There has been a lot of slander thrown in the direction of Russell Westbrook for pretty much his entire debut season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Now that he's gone through a full campaign with LA, the criticism continues to be as loud as ever. Golden State Warriors veteran Andre Iguodala has had enough of the disrespect and he's now come to Westbrook's defense.
Speaking on the Point Forward podcast with co-host Evan Turner, Iguodala went on a relatively lengthy rant pertaining to all the negativity that has surrounded the Lakers star. At this point, Iggy could not help but call out all of Westbrook's haters:

This team declined Russell Westbrook, this team declined Russell Westbrook… What are you really trying to do to this man? What did he do to y’all? ‘Cause, y’all just constantly keep doing this. What are you trying to accomplish?”
It's not just the naysayers who Iguodala is calling out here. It seems that the Warriors forward also has an issue with outlets that report news or rumors about Westbrook's potential trade away from the Lakers. According to Iguodala, he sees no value in outlets reporting news about how the Lakers are supposedly having trouble trading away the former league MVP. Andre sees this as a blatant showing of disrespect that does not do anything but attack Russell Westbrook and his character.
