Los Angeles Lakers All-Star Anthony Davis will be held out of Wednesday night's home game against the Orlando Magic as he continues to recover from a bruised tailbone:

Davis has missed the last three games for the Lakers, who are currently holding a Western Conference-best 33-7 overall record. He's listed as day-to-day, but the team appears to be erring on the side of caution with his return.
Davis took a hard fall after a block attempt in a game against the New York Knicks earlier this month. The former No. 1 overall pick collided with Julius Randle in mid-air, causing him to lose his center of balance. As a result, Davis slammed to the court — right on his backside. Luckily, it wasn't as bad as it looked for the Lakers star:

Davis took part in some light work during Tuesday's practice session and is said to be progressing well in his recovery:

With Anthony Davis ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Magic, Kyle Kuzma will likely continue to see an increased workload. Kuzma has played well of late for the Lakers, scoring a combined 73 points in his last three outings.
Wednesday night's Lakers-Magic game is set to tip inside Staples Center at 10:30 p.m. ET. Los Angeles is riding an impressive nine-game winning streak, while Orlando has won seven of its last 11.
