Anthony Davis received a lot of stick when a video of himself admitting that he hasn't picked up a basketball for months went completely viral. This caused a lot of panic among some overly analytical fans, who saw this as a sign of the Los Angeles Lakers star's lack of determination during the offseason.

Well, you can probably put all that nonsense to bed after seeing this clip of AD putting in the work. Training camp doesn't officially start until late September, but Davis is clearly already doing what he can to get ready for the season ahead (h/t Lethal Shooter on Twitter):

The video was posted by Chris Matthews, aka “Lethal Shooter,” who is a renowned shooting coach that works with more than a few stars from around the NBA. Anthony Davis has clearly identified his shooting as one of the critical areas he wants to improve on this season, and the fact that he's working with one of the best trainers in the game can only be a good thing.

Davis' talent has never been a question. The eight-time All-Star is without a doubt one of the top big men in the NBA today. However, injuries have been a major hurdle for him, particularly during the past couple of seasons with the Lakers. Hopefully, he gets his body right this summer, and he's able to stay healthy for the majority of the 2022-23 campaign. This in itself will already give the Lakers a major boost in their title hopes this coming year.
