With LeBron James still out due to his ankle sprain, the Los Angeles Lakers need Anthony Davis to be an absolute monster and gobble up the rest of the NBA. Well, he's pretty close so far.

In a critical game against the New York Knicks on Tuesday night, Davis once again showed how much of an unstoppable force he can be. At that point, Knicks guard RJ Barrett can't do anything but sigh in exasperation after fouling Davis. Even Nerlens Noel's late help defense didn't affect AD's shot. Too focused. Too strong. Too talented. Put that in a t-shirt!

The Lakers need every win they can get to earn more momentum as they're likely headed to the play-in tournament with a possible tasty matchup with the Golden State Warriors.

Anthony Davis has been playing mad for the Purple and Gold minus LeBron James and he sure needs to make more impossible buckets to give them better chances of winning. More 40-point games maybe?
