Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis came to the aid of his security guard after getting involved in a motorcycle accident, TMZ Sports reported.

TMZ captured some footage of the Lakers superstar at the crash scene on Saturday speaking with police officers.

It isn't 100 percent certain that the person was indeed Davis' security personnel. Nevertheless, his swift response to the scene may be an indication that the person involved in the crash was indeed within his circle. TMZ added that the eight-time NBA All-Star didn't look too happy while talking with officials and it's understandable given how someone close to him just got involved in an unfortunate accident.

Fortunately, as TMZ reported, the person was in stable condition and was immediately brought to the hospital for medical attention. More importantly, the Lakers big man wasn't involved in the accident at all. It also isn't clear what exactly happened, but the motorcycle was reportedly taken away on a tow truck. Furthermore, no other vehicle or person was involved in the incident.

Anthony Davis is still currently recovering from his calf strain injury that has kept him out of the Lakers' lineup for one and a half month now. He is reportedly ramping up his on-court activities, but he is still without a clear return date. To add to their woes, his partner-in-crime LeBron James also suffered a high ankle sprain a couple of weeks ago and will likely be out for three to five more weeks.

The Lakers added former All-Star center Andre Drummond via the buyout market. However, the ex-Cleveland Cavaliers big man suffered a toe injury in his very first game rocking the Purple and Gold. The injury bug has really hampered the defending champs this season.
