Yesterday Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green made comments regarding Los Angeles Lakers fans and their “bratty” nature after the crowd booed LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the rest of the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena earlier this week.

Immediately following those comments from Green, Lakers star Anthony Davis seemingly agreed with the Golden State star's opinion when he “liked” an Instagram post with a transcript of those same comments labeling Lakers fans as “bratty” despite having a championship banner hung in the rafters no more than two years ago.

Davis, who is currently out for at least the next month with an ankle injury, is no stranger to scrutiny. He's been met with a myriad of criticism regarding his health and availability for much of his time since coming to Los Angeles after being traded there in 2019, and even more so this season while the Lakers have struggled mightily in the NBA's Western Conference. If Davis thought Lakers fans were being “bratty” before, they certainly will show how they feel about these comments the next time Davis takes the court in Hollywood.

At 27-35 and well out of a significant playoff position, the Lakers find themselves possibly on the outside looking in when it comes to the postseason. Should they fail to make the playoffs, which would be their first season without a playoff appearance since LeBron James joined the team in 2018, it is almost certain that some shuffling of the roster will take place. Could Davis be the one who is on the move after going against the Lakers faithful?
