What's a great pass without a great assist? That's what Lonzo Ball delivered on Thursday night with pinpoint precision, hitting Brandon Ingram on the run as he hoisted a three-point bomb to sink the Philadelphia 76ers in front of their home crowd.
Despite the hostility shown toward him throughout the game, Ball made the right play at the right time, finishing with 10 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists in the game, but making the winning play when it counted the most.
“First of all he's an incredible player, and I think in those situations he makes the right play,” said Ingram, according to Harrison Faigen of Lakers Nation. “I just had the confidence to shoot the shot and knock it down.”

Ingram's shot gave the Lakers a 107-104 lead with 0.8 seconds left in regulation, avenging a prior loss at the Staples Center and surrendering a career-high 46 points to big man Joel Embiid.
Ingram led the Lakers with 21 points in the game, and despite making only 6-of-20 from the floor, Ball trusted his teammate once the defense had collided on him, giving him a wide open shot with the game on the line.
These young Lakers still have plenty of time until they all get on the same page, and this is only a small sample of what they can do as they grow more acquainted with each other on the court.
