Portland Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony says Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James “will do a lot” once his Hall of Fame career is over.
Anthony says he can't get into details about what LeBron is going to do, only saying that the Lakers star is a “very strategic person.”
James adds that he, Anthony, Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade never talk about basketball when they are hanging out and their sole purpose is to help others and make the world a better place.

Melo: Oh, he will do a lot. He will do a lot, a lot. I can’t get into details, but it’s stuff we all talk about. Things he wants to do, things he is doing now that will lead into things when he is done. He’s a very strategic person. Very complex. He knows what he wants and he knows what he doesn’t want. There is no gray area with him.
LeBron: We don’t talk about basketball. That’s the thing. Our relationship, me and Melo, D-Wade and CP, we don’t talk about basketball. We talk about life and how we can change the world and change the people around us. Basketball’s going to take care of itself. It’s a huge part of our story, obviously, but it’s not us. If we allow basketball to define who we are, then we’re nothing.
LeBron has talked about becoming an NBA owner when his career ends. For now, the four-time MVP is focused on winning his fourth title with the Lakers, who are tied with the Milwaukee Bucks for the best record in the NBA at 19-3.
James and the Lakers take on Melo and the Blazers on Friday in Portland. It should be an entertaining game.
