Sharia Washington, the older sister of the late Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant and aunt to Gianna Bryant, got a new tattoo in honor of her brother and niece. Kobe's widow, Vanessa Bryant, posted an image of her sister-in-law's ink on her Instagram.

The tattoo on Washington's left shoulder depicts a mamba snake around the numbers 2 and 24. Sharia also posted the image on her Instagram page with the caption: “Thank you 🙏🐍💕.”

Current Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis similarly got tattoos in the memory of Kobe and Gigi that featured a snake image with the Bryants' numbers. Of course, many of Kobe's fans went the tattoo route to honor him and Gigi, as well. James, however, would like to move on and refuses to answer any more questions pertaining to his fallen idol and friend.

Vanessa delivered emotional remarks on her late husband and daughter at Monday's “Celebration of Life” memorial service at Staples Center in honor of Kobe, Gianna, and the seven others who perished in the Jan. 26 helicopter crash.

Sharia and Kobe's other older sister, Shaya, were in attendance on Monday, as were Kobe's parents (and Gianna's grandparents) Joe and Pam. In 2016, Kobe said to ESPN of his two sisters: “I’m really proud of them. They were able to get their own jobs, get their own lives, take care of themselves. Now they have a better sense of self, of who they are as people, instead of being resentful because they were relying on me.”
