It's funny the way these two players are being compared when their games are very much different. Perhaps, while fans argue among themselves, Bryant and James are texting, talking, and whatnot as they display zero animosity towards one another.

Bryant is one of the meanest offensive machines the game has ever seen. People discount him by pointing out his misses, but he's earned the license and trust to hoist shot after shot. Meanwhile, James' scoring isn't his strongest suit as he's built his career on being an all-around player.

The problem with the statement which Bryant liked could be that it wasn't specified which facet of the game the Lakers legend has the more refined skills. James' passing game is also a basketball skill — something he's better than Bryant. But when it comes down to scoring ability, no question, Bryant owns James. He's more polished and has more fangs when talking about dropping buckets.

This isn't about the average or total career points. James will surpass Bryant in that area, but the latter, at his peak, is more unstoppable than the former.
