While helping the NBA launch its first basketball school in China, Kobe Bryant was spotted at a local camp wearing an unreleased white version of the Kobe A.D Mid with a gum sole.

The Black Mamba's new shoe debuted last month on August 24, which is aptly 8/24 as a nod to his jersey numbers which will soon be retired by the Los Angeles Lakers before the end of this year.

The initial release featured five coloways dubbed the “Mamba Mentality” pack. Each colorway is designed to represent the different characteristics of Kobe: purple for fearlessness, red for passion, yellow for optimism, grey for neutrality, and blue for honesty.

It is still anyone's guess what characteristic of Kobe Bryant the new white colorway is supposed to represent, but chances are everyone will soon get the full description of it when the colorway is eventually released to the public in the not-too-distant future.
