A Kobe Bryant championship ring that the late Los Angeles Lakers legend gifted to his father is expected to sell for $250,000, per TMZ. That's right, a quarter of a million dollars.
Bryant gave his parents, Joe “Jellybean” Bryant and Pamela Bryant, replicas of his first championship ring when the Lakers took home the NBA championship in 2000. Kobe's parents reportedly sold the rings along with other memorabilia for $280,000 back in 2013, so it's crazy that just one of these rings is now worth almost as much as that.
According to TMZ, Goldin Auctions already sold Pamela's ring for $206,000. Now, the sports collectibles auctioneer reportedly told TMZ that Joe's version of Bryant's first championship ring is up for $250,000.
The ring apparently features real gold and 40 diamonds, hence the ridiculously hefty price. Of course, much of its value comes from the fact that it came from the Lakers legend himself.

Moreover, an extremely rare Kobe Bryant rookie card is expected to sell for around $75,000. There's also a basketball signed by none other than Kobe, LeBron James, and Michael Jordan. This is expected to fetch $20-25,000.
It probably won't take long to find a bidder for Bryant's prized items. Though it happened nearly five months ago now, fans are still reeling from Bryant's untimely death in a helicopter crash that also took the lives of his daughter Gianna and seven other people.
Avid followers of The Black Mamba would want nothing more than to have a special something to remember their hero. They will, however, need to bring out the Brinks truck to get their hands on this memorabilia.
