Los Angeles Lakers stud Kyle Kuzma has now scored at least 24 points in the past two games. The 6-foot-8 power forward appears to have recently turned a corner, as he now seems to be extremely close to being one hundred percent healthy again.

After logging 24 points (20 points in the first half), on 9-of-17 shooting, three 3-pointers, four rebounds, and an assist in a 128-120 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday, Kuzma shared the type of mindset he now possesses whenever he takes the floor for this team.

“I'm just being in attack mode at all times,” Kuzma said, via Dave McMenamin of ESPN. “Being the third option, you don't have the luxury of taking it easy sometimes, so just being in attack mode.”

Kuzma then went on to say that his return to health has been the biggest factor in his recent hot streak.

“I'm just healthy now,” the Lakers forward added. “I'm confident in my body. I took a little bit of time off, sitting out for five games and really just self-collected what I needed to do and got it done.”

After missing L.A.'s first four games of the year to due a pre-season injury, Kuzma was out of action again for another five games in December because of an ankle problem. However, the 24-year-old now appears to be nearing full strength again, and with his confidence level also appearing to be as high as ever all season long, it looks like we're going to see more impressive performances from the third-year forward in the coming weeks.
