Los Angeles Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis have further cemented their claim as the best dynamic duo in the league today, becoming the first teammates to notch 400-plus points each in their team's first 15 road games of a season.

The pair flexed their dominant form once more on Sunday in the team's 101-96 win over the Atlanta Hawks at the State Farm Arena. James led all scores with 32 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists in 37 minutes, while also moving to 18th All-time in career made 3-pointers. The Lakers have had its fair share of iconic two-man wrecking crews in their storied franchise's history, from Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the '80s to Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant in the early 2000's. The Davis and James 1-2 punch connection has elevated the Purple and Gold this year to clear cut contenders after a disappointing run in LeBron's first tenure with the team.

Chemistry has never been an issue for the two multiple-time All-Stars, as James has went out of his way and has taken a back seat to Davis. The King even willingly offered his jersey number to Davis prior to the start of the season.

LeBron's unselfishness has taken the Lakers back to rightful place at the top of the West this year, even leading the league in assists this season with 10.7 per contest and once again inserting himself to the MVP conversation. Davis, meanwhile, is second in the league in blocks (2.6) and is the current frontrunner for the Defensive Player of the Year award.
