Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James hasn't played for the team since he injured his groin during their Christmas Day game against the Golden State Warriors. The four-time MVP has been spotted attending a Dallas Cowboys-Los Angeles Rams playoff game.
The Lakers have given no timetable for when James is scheduled to return, and it seems that LeBron James isn't rushing himself as well.

James, who signed a four-year deal with the Lakers last summer, has been very impressive for the team prior to the injury. After a slow start, he powered the purple and gold to an early season surge that saw them rack up wins and place fourth in the Western Conference.
However, since his absence, the Lakers have struggled to find consistency and has fallen down to the eighth spot in the West. They have lost seven of their last 11 games and are in danger of falling out of the playoff picture before James could make a full recovery.

So it doesn't really hurt if James takes a little bit of a break from playing basketball. After all, he's in his 16th season, he's locked up with the Lakers for four years, and he promised that he will be with the Lakers for the long haul, so there's nothing much to worry about. Once he's fully recovered, he will be back in action.
For now, he just wants to have some fun.
After all, we all want to see some football action on a weekend, right?
