Without taking away the credit from Allen, it's simply an amazing fact that through all of James' dunk attempts in his 16 years in the NBA, only nine have been swatted away. It's a testament to his superior athleticism, intensity, and elite endurance.
Be as it may, amazing stat or not, it was the Nets who came away with the victory, 115-110. LeBron James had another great game with 36 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists. To end their four-game road trip, the Lakers lose two straight. They'll head back home for a two-game homestand, starting with the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.
Allen had six points, eight rebounds, two steals, and two blocks in 20 minutes of play. However, it was D'Angelo Russell who led the way with 22 points and 13 assists. The Nets have a chance to extend their six-game winning streak on Wednesday when they visit the Chicago Bulls.
