Friday night marked yet another disappointing occasion for the Los Angeles Lakers following their 115-105 loss to the Phoenix Suns. That's now two straight losses for LA to open the new season and at this point, LeBron James has a few things to say about his team's poor start.

LeBron got brutally honest about where the Lakers are right now and while James acknowledged their struggles, it is clear that the four-time NBA champ isn't too worried:

“There’s a process along with building something to become the team you want to become, and I know it firsthand,” James said after Friday’s game, via Sam Leweck of Lakers Daily. “It doesn’t happen overnight, as much as you want it. It just takes time, and we’ll know when that time is. Right now, we’ve got to continue to just push.”

LeBron did his bit for the Lakers on Friday, scoring a game-high 25 points on 8-of-18 shooting, to go along with two rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Nevertheless, it was another frustrating evening for the Purple and Gold as they marked their second loss in two games.

In spite of their lackluster start, however, LeBron remains confident that the Lakers will get to where they want to be sooner rather than later:

“We’ll get better with it,” James said. “We have no choice but to get better.”

The Lakers return to action on Sunday when they host the Memphis Grizzlies at Staples Center. This matchup presents itself as a solid opportunity for LeBron and Co. to finally get that much-needed first win of the season.
