Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is adjusting to life inside the Disney World bubble. It has required some getting used to for him, but at the moment, LeBron has been able to see the silver lining in what has been a completely new experience for everyone.

According to LeBron, this unique situation has allowed him to rekindle the purest form of love for the sport:

“You have to really love basketball to be here,” he said, via Kyle Goon of The Orange County Register. “Because there’s no extra motivation as far as that you get or the excitement from the crowd and things of that nature. You have to really, like, love the game and love the work and be able to lock in on your craft, and that’s something that I actually love. It’s pretty cool.”

It's always great to hear these types of stories from players inside the bubble. The initial wave of complaints from some of the players themselves now appear to have been drowned out by how most of them have been able to adjust to the “new normal.” In the end, it was actually just a matter of time.

Despite his newfound love affair with basketball, however, LeBron and the Lakers have not exactly had the best time since the restart. They may have clinched the top spot in the West already — which is likely one of the reasons why they may have taken their foot off the gas — but their overall performance has not been up to par with what's expected from the top team in the conference.

Saturday's loss to the Indiana Pacers was the Lakers' third straight defeat and their fourth in six seeding games. LeBron and Co. will be back in action against the Denver Nuggets on Monday.
