LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers got thoroughly embarrassed Sunday night at Staples Center, losing to the Toronto Raptors by a final score of 121-107.

The Raptors, who were playing without All-Star small forward Kawhi Leonard, were up 42-17 after the first quarter. The Staples Center crowd showered the Lakers with some boos and, even though the effort level picked up in the second half, it was still a terrible performance by Los Angeles.

There's still a lot of basketball left to be played and the Lakers can turn things around. Criticizing LeBron James for going to his friend's birthday party seems a bit drastic.
